Co-Founder/Director/Facilitator
Kristen Burton is the Co-Founder and Director of Hope in a Horseshoe, where she combines her lifelong connection with horses with a passion for helping others heal, grow, and rediscover their strength. A breast cancer survivor, Kristen understands firsthand how life-changing experiences can reshape who we are and what we need to move forward.
Kristen is an Equine Gestaltist™, Reiki Master Practitioner, and 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Through trauma-informed, experiential programs in partnership with horses, she creates safe and supportive spaces where women and children can build confidence, resilience, connection, and trust.
Kristen believes horses have an extraordinary ability to meet us exactly where we are—and that healing, growth, and hope can often be found in their presence.
